King's Cross Station. Landed in Heathrow. Took the Heathrow express to Paddington and then a cab to Kings Cross.

York Station A 2 hour train ride took us to York. Beautiful station. There was an Enterprise car rental at the station from where we picked up a car.

Beautiful station. Flooded with light.

Lots of interesting details.

We didn't spend any time in York outside of the short drive through the city while on our way to the lake district.

-Clapham Approximately half way between York and Windermere.

Clapham

Somewhere between Clapham and Windermere. Rolling hills peppered with sheep. Cannot not stop for photographs.

Arrived at Windermere as the sun set and everything looked golden.
